Mount Batulao

IMG_3870Here are some posts where I just have no idea where to start. The cursor is blinking but I simply don’t know where to begin. This is one of those posts. There are so many things buzzing around in my head and ready to share – what to bring, who to go with, what to wear.I’ll start by saying that first of all, hats off to those who have made the trek, it’s certainly no walk in the park (pun intended). We made the 2 hour trip to Batangas morning saturday before arriving at the ranger station packed and ready to start by 6am.The first leg of the  Mount Batulao is only about 2-4 hours depending on your pace.Once you reach Camp 2  you eat and rest before ascent to the summit – easily the most challenging part of the hike.
